The StutterTalk.com podcast will be discussing the Code of Ethics of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association during an upcoming episode. During this episode we are also planning to discuss marketing and advertising related issues in the field of speech-language pathology that are related to stuttering and the Code of Ethics. StutterTalk is a free, weekly, 501(c)(3) nonprofit podcast which focuses on stuttering related issues.
I am writing you today to offer Board Members of ASHA the opportunity to join StutterTalk for this episode so that you may speak to a listening audience which includes people who stutter, family members of people who stutter, speech-language pathologists, graduate students in the field and the general public. During this episode, Board Members of ASHA will be provided the opportunity to discuss and explain the Code of Ethics, to answer questions regarding the enforcement of the Code of Ethics and to discuss marketing and advertising issues in the field of speech-language pathology.
StutterTalk can accommodate anywhere from one to three ASHA Board Members, via telephone conference call, for the recording of this episode. StutterTalk will record the conversation, prepare the conversation for publication (adjust the sound levels, add public service announcements, etc.) and then publish.
StutterTalk is providing ASHA Board Members an opportunity to speak to consumers (the people we serve). Please let me know when StutterTalk can schedule one or more ASHA Board Members to join us for this important episode.
Sincerely,
Peter Reitzes, MA CCC-SLP
