StutterTalk welcomes very special guest Dr. Phillip Schneider of Schneider Speech Pathology. Dr. Schneider has been a practicing speech therapist for 37 years who specializes in stuttering, voice problems, speech and language and public speaking. Among his many achievements, Phil was awarded the 2004 speech therapist of the year award by the National Stuttering Association. We discuss Phil's powerful and moving documentary Transcending Stuttering: The Inside Story (view here). Phil discusses shame, guilt, courage, our values as people who stutter and clinicians, the strength we possess, the process of change and so much more.
