Sean and Drew from the National Stuttering Association - We Sound Good Every Day (Episode 47)

Download | Duration: 00:46:24

Peter, Eric and Joe interview Sean and Drew at the National Stuttering Association's (NSA's) 2008 annual conference. This is the second of four interviews we held that were organized in collaboration with the NSA. Special thanks goes to Nina Reardon-Reeves and Tammy Flores for their assistance on this project.

Drew and Sean talk about a wide range of stuttering issues - the importance of self-help and the NSA, going to college, dating, talking about stuttering with professors and teachers, speech tools, stuttering as a gift, the advantages of being a stutterer and much more.

The YouTube video posted above contains images from the NSA's 2008 annual conference with voices from StutterTalk episodes 46-49 which were recorded at the conference with NSA members.

Thanks to
Yo La Tengo, The Hold Steady, and The National and  for supplying their musical goodness to StutterTalk. We also include some fine music from Eric's bands Rocketship Park and Higgins.
