Back to School: Sometimes I Just Stutter

Are you heading back to school and looking
for some great materials to use with children who stutter?

Try this wonderful Stuttering Foundation book Sometimes I Just Stutter by Eelco de Geus.

"This 40 page book is a wonderful way for kids to discover more about stuttering in an open and encouraging way. It lets them know that the harder they try not to stutter, the more they may do so. Letters to brothers and sisters, grandparents, teachers, and others let children take the lead in educating the people in their environment. The personal letters written by other kids who stutter help to normalize stuttering and let readers know that they are not alone."

Sometimes I Just Stutter is available for purchase inexpensively here, to view as a pdf file here and available for purchase via kindle here.

Another great back to school resource is the awesome video Stuttering: For Kids, By Kids published by the Stuttering Foundation.

Cartoon animation and real children come together to help other kids who stutter in this lively and engaging 12-minute film." StutterTalk host Peter Reitzes reviewed the film here.
