Sowman joins Peter Reitzes to discuss his recently published study in the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience which uses neuroimaging to compare the speech production of preschoolers who do and do not stutter. Dr. Sowman’s major finding is that “[Brain] activation was significantly lateralized to the left hemisphere in both groups and not different between groups.”
